Stilwell & Associates and Junot Systems announce partnership

Houston, September 14, 2004 – Junot Systems, Inc., a leading provider of embedded enterprise application integration solutions, and Stilwell & Associates of the USA, Inc., provider of TagLink, the world’s only Maintenance Safety Software, announced today that they have signed a letter of intent for the integration of TagLink to SAP® R/3® using Junot Systems’ patented and SAP certified NLINK® product.

Maintenance Safety Software (MSS) is a new class of industrial software created to computerize the lockout/tagout, confined space, and hot work permit processes that create a safe environment for maintenance. For example, lockout/tagout processes can be used to isolate potentially hazardous energy and control machinery so that employees can perform maintenance tasks safely. Unexpected start-up of the machinery during maintenance could expose maintenance personnel to live energy dangers leading to injury or even death. Stilwell & Associates TagLink software manages the daily operations necessary for lockout/tagout, including automatically creating a history of lockout/tagout activity. The audit trail and the standardized process ensured by the software helps organizations comply with OSHA regulations while saving time and improving safety.

Integration of TagLink to SAP R/3 provides SAP customers the ability to seamlessly and safely complete all maintenance tasks. With work order information uploaded from SAP R/3, TagLink quickly and accurately creates all required permits and tags to proceed from the work order to performing the work: from permitting; site and equipment preparation; repair and maintenance work; to return to operational status. Typically, this integrated system reduces the number of steps in maintenance procedures while increasing the level of detail in record-keeping and reporting. An additional benefit is that the entire process for any maintenance operation can be standardized across the organization and scrutinized by appropriate technical and management staff.
